Madonna feels like football player gearing up for Super Bowl performance

Brazil Sun (ANI) Saturday 4th February, 2012

Madonna, who is preparing for her performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday, has revealed that she feels like one of the players who are getting ready to take to the pitch.

The 53-year-old singer is scheduled to perform four songs during the half-time act, one of which will be her next single, 'Give Me All Your Luvin,' which will feature Nicki Minaj and Mia.

She told People Magazine that after suffering a strained hamstring, she feels "just like one of the football players now, mind over matter."

The queen of pop also revealed that she has been rehearsing for the high-profile performance since December, then took a break for Christmas and that she and her dancers have been rehearsing solidly for the last three weeks.

"Over the 25 years of performing that I've done, I have never worked so hard or been so scrupulous or detail-oriented or freaked out as much maintaining my sanity," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Her performance will be watched by millions of viewers and she has called the honour "a Midwesterner girl's dream". (ANI)
