ABU DHABI, 1st May, 2025 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has received Daniel Noboa, President of the Republic of Ecuador, who is currently on a visit to the UAE.
The meeting, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, explored ways to further enhance bilateral relations between the UAE and Ecuador and to identify new avenues for cooperation across a range of areas of mutual interest, particularly within key economic and developmental sectors.
At the outset of the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Khaled welcomed President Daniel Noboa and the accompanying delegation, and conveyed best wishes for success in leading Ecuador toward continued progress and prosperity following his recent re-election.
The meeting focused on opportunities to deepen cooperation and strengthen ties in support of sustainable development, benefiting both nations and their peoples.
The discussions also highlighted the importance of diversifying economic and investment partnerships, and advancing joint initiatives in key areas such as technology, renewable energy and trade.
H.H. reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to enhancing collaboration with Latin American nations, underscoring the shared values and visions that unite the UAE and Ecuador, as well as the support of the leadership of both nations to strengthen and grow their bilateral relationship.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince Court; Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Humaid Obaid Abu Shabas, Chairman of the UAE Accountability Authority; Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport; Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development; Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health; Ahmed Tamim Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement; Dr Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy; Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Crown Prince's Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court; and Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, Deputy Group CEO of Mubadala Investment Company.
